Preparing Secondary Students for Work

What is the importance of collaboration?

The importance of collaboration

Effective vocational learning and VET depend on close collaboration between schools and employers.

School systems, industry, Registered Training Organisations (RTO), training package developers, curriculum bodies and VET regulators also need to work together to ensure the vocational learning and VET delivered to secondary students is relevant, valuable and high quality. As recognised in the framework, it’s important that collaboration occurs at local, state and national levels.
